I first injured my back just over two years ago and the aches and pains had steadily got worse over the past six months, even though I had been receiving physiotherapy once a month. I had tried attending a Pilates group at the local gym but only found this made things worse as I hadn’t got a clue whether I was performing the exercises correctly – clearly I wasn’t!!! My Physiotherapist suggested I spoke to Ann about the Pilates class and from the initial consultation it was clear that Ann knew what she was talking about, as she immediately identified that I was trying to over correct my posture which was causing all the lower back ache. Ann provides a very professional and personal approach during the Pilates classes and walks around during the class to check that we are in the right position, and if you’re not she places you in the correct position which makes a huge difference!
